Schmincke Horadam® Half pan 493 French ultramarine 2

Schmincke Horadam is a beautiful artist's watercolor paint. Horadam has a beautiful color range with pigments with the highest possible lightfastness. A total of 180 different shades are available, with 92 shades containing only one pigment.

Schmincke uses exactly the same formula for both the pans & tubes. The pigments are bound with gum arabic.

French ultramarine is a granulating ultramarine blue, with a red tint.

As a special series, Schmincke has 40 super granulating colors, with these shades two granulating pigments form the basis of the paint. This creates unique and unusual color changes.
