You use Paper Poetry cutting tools to make your own stamps. If you have Linoleum, SoftCut, or Speedy-Carve as a base, use this set so that you can cut them precisely. Carving is basically cutting away the pieces that you do not want to print. What remains then can be smeared with ink and prints later. Cutting tools come in all price and quality ratios. This small cutting has a thin grip, are decently priced, and you don't always have to change the holder for a different cutter.

The cutting tools from the set have U and V shapes and there is also a knife with the set. The major difference between the Paper Poetry holder and the ABIG gouges is the holder. The ABIG gouges are made just a little more solid and are packed in handy boxes where you can store them. With Paper Poetry, each gouge is already attached to a holder.

How do you use these tools while cutting?
The shape of the holders is made so that it fits nicely in the palm of your hand. You can place your index finger almost lengthwise over the holder. Do not make the angle between your carving blocks too large, so you keep the cutting tools holder low. 

What is included with the stamp guts?
The Paper Poetry set consists of six different knives/blades including a holder.
