Pastelle

A Öl-Pastell besteht aus einer Mischung aus Pigment, einem Stabilisator und einem Bindemittel. Das Bindemittel ist oft ein Wachs oder ein Öl. Das Besondere an Ölpastellkreiden ist, dass dieses Material nie austrocknet. Es bleibt daher immer „offen“ und für die Wiederaufnahme der Arbeit verfügbar. Sie können weiterhin alle Farben miteinander mischen.

Eine sehr schöne Variante dieser Ölpastelle sind die Neocolor II von Caran d'Ache . Diese sehen Ölpastellkreiden sehr ähnlich, sind aber mit Wasser löslich! Die Pastellfarben fühlen sich nicht fettig an und können auch als Aquarellfarbe verwendet werden.

Die zarten Pastelltöne sind in wunderschönen Sets erhältlich. Weiche Pastelle sind Pigmente mit einem kalkhaltigen Bindemittel. Sie sehen aus wie „Buntstifte“, aber in den schönsten Farben.
