Collection: Gouache

I have two different gouache paints in my shop: the Holbein Artists’ Gouache and the Winsor & Newton gouache. The Holbein Artists ’Gouache contains the finest ground pigments and contains no added agents that increase the opacity. As a result, you will always have reliable results.

The Winsor & Newton Gouache is very nice and can be used for both painting and calligraphy. Do you want to use it for calligraphy? Mix the gouache with a little Arabic Gum. This makes the gouache more fluid and suitable for calligraphy. If you prefer to make a larger quantity, it is best to do this in an empty ink jar or in a dinky dip.
