Winsor & Newton

In 1832, Winsor & Newton introduced the first paints in pans. That was very revolutionary for that time! Painters used to mix their own paints with pigments. All they had to do with the new pans was to use a wet brush. Shortly after the launch, Winsor & Newton made the first Artists watercolor in tubes. This watercolor slowly turned into a favorite among artists.

At Splendith, you will find different materials from Winsor & Newton: different palettes from their Cotman line, the Designers Gouache, Drawing Ink sets, Professional Watercolors and Arabic Gum.
