This time of year is wonderful! It gets dark early and the lights and candles can be turned on, fun! I enjoy giving presents even more. I couldn't wait for shopping time this past month. In my family, every year we buy each other gifts and write a poem. Yesterday I finally went on a gift hunt. At checkout, my gifts were wrapped in a hurry due to the crowds. How much more fun could this be, I thought! As soon as I got home I immediately got to work.
Wrapping Sinterklaas gifts
To wrap my Sinterklaas gifts I used paper and name tags that I had already had lying around for a while. I made the hats from tissue paper and a feather. I calligraphed the names beautifully on the name tags with the Oblique holder , Nikko G nib and Sumi ink. See the result below.
Although it will probably take a short time before the paper is removed from the package, I think it is worth the effort to beautifully wrap a Sinterklaas gift. By creatively wrapping a few gifts you give that extra 'touch' and personal attention.
How do you wrap your Sinterklaas gifts? And how do you give a personal 'touch' to your gift?
Love,
Judith
