The Gillott 404 is a must-have! Especially a nice nib to use as a beginner. Works well on multiple surfaces, even on paper with a structure. Eleonor Winters recommends this pen in her book as a pen for thin lines without being too fragile. The firmness is comparable to the Nikko G.
