Pastel Potloden

Pastelpotloden zijn hele zachte potloden. In de kern van deze potloden zit een soft pastel, de inhoud is dus poederig. Pastelpotloden kun je het beste gebruiken op papier met een korrelige structuur, zodat het pigment goed kan hechten.

Details aanbrengen met een pastelpotlood

Het is ook heel leuk om met pastelpotloden te experimenteren op gekleurd papier! Doordat ze iets harder zijn dan pastelkrijt ofwel soft pastel, zijn pastelpotloden erg geschikt om details aan te brengen in een tekening die je hebt gemaakt met pastelkrijt. Zorg dat je met pastelpotloden van licht naar donker werkt. Donkere kleuren layeren over lichtere kleuren zorgt dat de donkere tinten eruit springen. Als je het andersom zou doen krijg je een vlek en zal het niet lukken om de lichte kleur goed te laten dekken.

Goed om te weten

Bij pastelpotloden is het extra belangrijk wat voor soort papier je gebruikt. Papier met een structuur, of een beetje ‘tooth’ zorgt voor de beste resultaten.
