Ecoline 30ml sets Primary Colors

Ecoline Watercolor is in stock in 48 different colors! The colors are beautiful, when you see the rainbow-like that, don’t you prefer to have them all on your desk? With this watercolor in a jar, you can get started right away. 46 of the colors of Ecoline are brilliant and transparent. Two colors are more opaque; those are white and gold. Ecoline is often being confused with ink, but it is liquid watercolor. The transparent Ecoline adheres well to watercolor paper, drawing paper, and cardboard. The colors look the best on light paper.

What do you use Ecoline for?
Ecoline is very lovely to use with calligraphy. The consistency is very nice, and a nice little gradient will appear in your letters. Of course, you can also use Ecoline for your illustrations. Ecoline is known for its brilliant and bright colors. So if you like nice and bright colors, Ecoline is the way to go.

How do you use Ecoline?
The watercolor is basically ready for use. You can also easily change the intensity of the colors and the substance of the watercolor. You can make the colors more subtle by diluting the watercolor with water. You make the Ecoline a bit thicker and give it more shine by adding Arabic gum.

The watercolor dries quickly but does not become waterproof. So you can continue where you left off as soon as your ink is dry by making it wet again. Therefore I do not recommend Ecoline for writing on envelopes ;).

Tip: Ecoline is not lightfast. If you want to keep your illustrations looking beautiful, store them in a drawing folder.
