Molly Thorpe shows lovely variations on the Copperplate script in the 'Modern Calligraphy' book. After an overview of tools, you learn letters, words and sentences with excellent examples. She shows how you can write with gouache and watercolour and how you can digitize your notebooks. In the book, Mollie pays a lot of attention to the techniques that teach you the basics of modern calligraphy. The great thing about this book is that the writer has added an alphabet with many varied letters. If you master the basics of calligraphy, this book gives lovely inspiration to further experimenting.

Are you curious about what is different in this book than the previous edition of 'Modern Calligraphy' by Molly Thorpe? Almost nothing! Only the cover is different because this is the English version. Sometimes only other words are used.
