Sennelier oil sticks are very pleasant to work with due to the high pigment concentration. Work directly with the stick on your canvas, and create beautiful abstract works.
The Oil Stick is a composition with oil paint. Because part of the oil has been replaced with mineral wax, you get an oil stick. Made with the best and purest pigments so that the colors remain bright over time. The paint dries within 2-5 days, depending on the layer thickness and drying conditions.
Tips for working with the Sennelier oil sticks
- Because the material is based on oil paint, it is important that the surface is also prepared for this.
- After use, the outer layer of the stick dries, then remove the film before use. You can use the stick for a longer period of time.
- Use the 'Medium' stick to make colors more transparent, and for glazes.
- You can also use other mediums that are also suitable for oil painting.
- After the paint has dried, you can paint it like a conventional oil paint.
